Hey Gabriel, things are good, although a bit busy. I'll see if I can find it in the library.

How've you been?

Try and find a non-fiction book called "A Fair Country: Telling Truths About Canada" by John Ralston Saul (Google him). It's about a lot of stuff, but it does manage to describe the differences between Canada and the rest of the Anglo Alliance.

Spoiler alert: our DNA has a lot of French humanist and Native North American elements to it.

You'll probably have to order it online.

Hope everything's good. Stop by if you get a chance.

You are right - it is a fantastic book. I did a video summary of it here: www.readitfor.me. Shirky does an amazing job highlighting the changes at a society level caused by the web.

Thats's kind of cool. Of course, the caffeine I have is already in its freebase form, so if I wanted to smoke the stuff I'm sure I could.

Fantastic. I'm a big CB fan from Screenwipe, Newswipe and Nathan Barley. I don't know his writing but I think I'll be checking it out.

I like that spider - some kind of orb weaver, perhaps? Spiders here don't tend to be so colourful.

The new feature on your blog looks good.

It definitely looks like the one featured on the Wiki page, but the ones around here have a way smaller body. I'll see what I can do about taking a photo or one once the six feet of snow melts.

Did I ever show you my spider shot? Well... here you go:

I set something up on the main blog that I hope meets your approval. It's a new page, the link's on top.
