Try and find a non-fiction book called "A Fair Country: Telling Truths About Canada" by John Ralston Saul (Google him). It's about a lot of stuff, but it does manage to describe the differences between Canada and the rest of the Anglo Alliance. Spoiler alert: our DNA has a lot of French humanist and Native North American elements to it. You'll probably have to order it online. Hope everything's good. Stop by if you get a chance.
